WHAT TO DO IN QUEENSTOWN FOR THE WINTER FESTIVAL

From the 21st through to the 24th June, Queenstown will come alive with vibrancy, fun and playfulness as the annual Winter Festival rolls into town. Welcoming all Winter lovers, our favourite little snowy town has been throwing this party for the last 43 years, so they sure know how to host.

There’s a few things you’ll be wanting to do in advance to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the fun, so shake out your mittens, dust off that fabulous Winter coat and start preparing for the best dose of South Island fun you’ll have this season!

Accomodation Queenstown becomes a pretty popular place around this time, and that’s just putting it mildly! So make sure you book well in advance for somewhere to rest your weary head for the night. Luckily, even if you’re finding it tough to find a spot in the centre, there’s neighbouring Frankton, Arrowtown and even Wanaka to choose from too.

Festival Programme Those that know how to festival well, will know it’s handy to go in with a plan. Check out the Winter Festival’s official schedule, and have a team meeting to decide what might have to be missed, and what you absolutely must get to.
