Located along one of the most ‘grammable stretches of road in the South Island, Pukaki is dreamy in pristine turquoise.
Whether the backdrop is snow capped mountains or the hot summer sun – this vista redefines beauty.
I’ve taken a bit of break from Instagram over the Christmas period and as 2017 comes to an end, I wanted to kick things back off with my favourite image from the last year. It’s one that I haven’t posted yet and is my favourite for many reasons. First of all it was our first time seeing Mt Cook after 4 visits to the region. He definitely put on one hell of a show for us! Secondly, this moment was shared with some wonderful friends and of course the love of my life @viktoriawanders, a person that has made 2017 a very special year for me. As we move into our dream home with a little human on the way I can look back on the past year with great fondness. Thank you to every single person who has contributed towards making 2017 the incredible year that it was. Thank you to everyone that has continued to support my photography by following my journey. Thank you to all of the wonderful people I have met through a shared love for what we do. I wish everyone reading this a very happy new year. May 2018 bring you everything you hope for and more. . . . . @canon.nz 6D @tamronnz 70-200 @nisifiltersaustralia CPL & 1.2 soft grad @mefototripods CF Globetrotter . . . . #wonderful_places #wildernessculture #welivetoexplore #theglobewanderer #hpow #earthfocus #travelawesome #travelnewzealand #roamtheplanet #awakethesoul #liveoutdoors #earthfocus #wanderout #mybestintravel #mthrworld #artofvisuals #earthpix #vicivisuals #wanderout #ourplanetdaily #capturedconcepts #moodygrams #theworldshotz #uniladadventure #beboundless #nisifiltersanz #canturburynz #worldnomads #mgsoshauna @moodygrams @earthpix
Light house – check; novelty sign pointing to the world’s main cities – check; rugged coastline – check: Cape Reinga is a must-do on your Kiwi Insta tour.
As north as you can get, and as stunning as you can get, too.
The tourist mecca of the north, Lake Taupo is a scenic wonderland. Out on the lake or exploring the surrounding forests and rivers – try the view from above with a bucket list skydive.
I cannot believe that 2017 is over now. I got to know so many new people this year and was able to travel to so many wonderful places. I am so thankful about everything that has happened and about every new friendship I’ve made. Thank you to everyone who made my year unforgettable. 2018 barely can top this. #throwback #thankful #blessed
The cityscape and landscape blend beautifully in the country’s biggest city. Looking at the harbour from the city you will see Rangitoto, the huge volcano. And looking back at the city from the sea you will see the quintessential Kiwi skyline snap.
Our Pete really put us on the map when he turned our country into the Lord of the Rings set. Now immortalised as part of our nation, Hobbiton is the novelty adventure you’ve been waiting for.
The tiny town is so cute and quaint, you will find endless photo opportunities here.
Today we flew to New Zealand! Can you guess who we decided to visit first today? I have never been a big fan of Lord of the rings, but that was amazing to see all the hobbits’ houses and views of the Hobbiton. P.S. Unfortunately we where not able to catch Frodo, he went out fishing 🎣 #newzealandadventures #hobitton #lordoftherings #sfblogger #livingthedream #belarusiangirlinnewzealand #oliabirulia_newzealand #instagood #girlsborntotravel #newzealandnatural #newzealandvacation #hobbitonmovieset
Abel Tasman National Park
A personal favourite of the Snapper, the Abel Tasman is an unbeatable destination. Hidden beaches, secret bays, clear water, warm climes and native bush – this is where the magic (grams) happen.
Explorable by foot, boat or air – you may need to make some space on your device to fit all the snaps the Abel Tasman will provide.
THE quintessential Kiwi snap has to be a trek up The Mount. Preferably in activewear and most definitely on a sunny day, this is a photographic must do.
Extra points for running, posing in a group or couple and getting up early for the sunrise journey.
Get yourself to one of these Instagrammable places of New Zealand by hiring a Snap Rental. Book here.
